Our Mission
The Small Miracles Foundation of New Jersey provides free music instruction and teaching experience to young people.

Giving children the ability to play an instrument gives them musical intellectual development and bridges gaps that often exist in society.

And, unlike other music programs, we believe it's important for the instructors to be high school musicians. They develop a love for teaching that gives them confidence, real world skills and enhances the education industry.

What do we do?
We match talented high school musicians with children who want to learn an instrument. we provide training, space, music, instruments and orientation for parents.
Where?
The lessons take place in various schools that donate space. They include the Westminster Conservatory of Music, The Lawrenceville School, the Princeton University Carl Fields, Jr., Center, and the Lawrencville Elementary School.
How do we find students?
Elementary school principals, music teachers and guidance counselors handpick children who want to study certain instruments. To qualify, a child needs to be eligible for the Federal Lunch Program. Also children must be ready to practice at home.
What else do we provide?

Instruments (pianos, violins, flutes, saxophones and other) are donated and lent out to students in the program.
Sheet music is provided for students and teachers.
Workshops, private lesson supervision and teaching demonstrations are provided to each teacher, as well as ongoing support from professional music teachers.
